How does the CHS Animal Care *Gift Card work? Choose to donate toward one (or more!) areas of much needed support at CHS on behalf of someone you
care about. Your gift will touch the lives of many - both human and furry - and keep giving for years to come.
We'll send you the gift card(s) for your recipient(s) - the card(s) will indicate the animal
care gift(s) you've given on their behalf. You can then give these gift cards to your loved
ones - order extras to have on hand for unexpected giving opportunities. A purrrrrfect gift for Holiday,
or any occasion!
Where can I purchase the Gift Card?
Right here, on our CHS Online Gift Shop. Or, stop by the shelter to
purchase your gift cards. Or, download the Gift Catalog,
fill out the order form on the back, and mail it to us.
Please allow 5 business days prior to your needed
date to give us time to process your order.
Gift card(s) will be sent to YOU to personalize and then give or mail to
your recipient(s).
*Please Note: Gift cards are "donations" and their purchase is fully tax deductible, to the legal extent, as a contribution to Coastal Humane Society.

Kitty condo
Nothing comforts a cat more than a cozy "condo"
to climb or curl up in. In our free roaming cat rooms,
shy residents jockey for position in the cushioned
hidey holes, while the friskier felines race around
and up and down.
A1. Complete Kitty Condo $200
A2. Share of a Kitty Condo $25

Meals and treats feast
Your gift of a basket of high quality, nutritious,
delicious food and treats feeds 20 cats, four dogs,
three birds, two rabbits, and a ferret for several
days. You'll have given a lot of displaced pets
something healthful and heartful - and full of love.
B1. Food for 3 days $50
B2. Food for one week $100

Housekeeping bucket
Having a squeaky-clean, sweet smelling shelter
isn't only a point of pride for our fastidiously nasty-neat
animal care staff, it is absolutely essential to
the health and wellbeing of our animals. Cleaning
supplies may not be the prettiest gift, but it's high
on our wish list.
C. Housekeeping bucket $30

Fun and games
Life in cages and kennels can be boring. Our
animals need the stimulation of people and play
things. Chew toys, catnip mice, kongs, balls, and
tug toys are welcome distractions. We always
have treats and toys with every animal (even small
guys, like ferrets and hamsters). Like all creatures,
our animals welcome surprises, so this is a
great gift.
D1. Bag of cat toys $20
D2. Bag of dog toys $20
D3. Mixed bag of toys $40

Canine cushion
In a shelter, a dog spends a disproportionate
amount of time sacked out on its doggie bed... so
why not make that bed as absolutely comfortable as
it can be? At CHS we go to great lengths, and
equally great expense, to provide the best we can.
Your gift of a dog bed can make all the difference
to a pooch waiting patiently for a home.
E1. Large dog bed $50
E2. Medium dog bed $35
E3. Small dog bed $25

Healthcare kit
The gift of health is the greatest gift of all. We are
fortunate to have our own veterinary service within
the shelter to provide the greatest care and compassion.
But the cost for supplies and medicines
is quite high. A medical gift kit will cover the
expense of health tests, medicine and vaccinations
for one new animal as it enters the shelter.
F. Healthcare kit $100

Dog yard spruce-up
Our canine friends need fresh air and exercise.
For dogs, running and playing helps burn off stress
energy - and that's a good thing in a shelter
environment. We routinely replace the yard materials
and fencing, and plant fresh grass or trees as
needed. Your gift will help cover these expenses
and also go towards outdoor activity and game items.
G. Dog yard spruce-up $250

Spay/neuter
One of the biggest issues facing our communities
is the high number of unwanted or abandoned
pets - particularly cats. Show you care about the
health and happiness of Maine's companion
animals by giving the gift of a spay or neuter procedure.
Your gift will help us help others who
cannot afford to do this for their animals.
H1. Spay procedure for one animal $60
H2. Neuter procedure for one animal $30
H3. Help by the dozen - for 12 animals $500
