Boyka
|
Boyka is a 1+ year old Elkhound/Shepherd Cross; he is neutered and weighs 80 pounds. Boyka came to us as a result of a set of unfortunate circumstances with his family. He is a gentle and friendly soul who is housetrained and crate trained. He loves car rides, Frisbees, and a good game of ball toss. He knows the commands sit and down. Because of past experiences, Boyka is very fearful of bicyclists, skateboarders, roller bladers, and children who yell. He really needs a home with another dog as a playmate. He also gets along with cats. Boyka likes all people - men, women, and children over the age of thirteen; there can be no young children in his home for he does not like rough loud play. His past experiences prove to us he must be made to feel secure and loved. Boyka can be protective of children to such a degree that he requires an owner who is experienced with shepherd or other guarding breeds. This young and energetic sweetheart desires and deserves a safe committed home. Boyka is currently being treated for Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis (a tick-borne disease). |
